Xcel Warranty/Repair Claim | Xcel Wetsuits
At Xcel we pride ourselves on the highest quality construction and fit. The following warranties apply per product category, under normal recreational use and proper care, on materials and workmanship from the original purchase date:
Wetsuits: 1 YEAR from original purchase date.
UV, Accessories, Apparel: 3 MONTHS from original purchase date.
Xcel is the only party authorized to determine warranty eligibility. Submitting a warranty claim does not guarantee repair or replacement.
What is Covered: Xcel offers a 12-month warranty on all our wetsuits, starting from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including but not limited to:
- Seam Separation
- Defective Zippers
- Material Delamination
What is Not Covered: Our warranty does not cover damage caused by factors outside of manufacturing defects. This includes:
- Normal Wear and Tear
- Misuse or Neglect
- Sharp Object Damage
- Sun Exposure
- Alterations
If your wetsuit’s issue falls under one of the covered defects, please proceed with the warranty claim process outlined below.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Gather Your Information:
- Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, bank statement).
- A detailed description of the defect.
- Photos clearly showing the issue with your wetsuit.
- Submit Your Claim:
- Visit our Warranty Claim Form page on the Xcel website.
- Complete the form with your information and upload the necessary documentation and photos.
- Our team will review your claim within 14 business days and contact you with the next steps.
Repairs and Out-of-Warranty Items
For items that are out of warranty or where the damage is not covered by our warranty:
- Repair Services: While we do not facilitate repairs for out-of-warranty items, we can connect you with a trusted third-party repair service that specializes in wetsuits. Simply contact us for their details, and you can arrange the repair directly with them.
